This guide walks you through recording, saving, and uploading a meeting using the Aveni Assist Mobile App.
Start Recording
Open the app
Tap the red Record button at the bottom of the screen
During the Recording
For best results:
Ensure you’re in a quiet location
Keep the phone close to you and your client
Switch to Flight Mode or Do Not Disturb to avoid interruptions
Avoid making or receiving phone or VoIP calls during the recording session to prevent interruptions.
⚠️ If you receive a phone call, the recording will pause. You’ll need to press play again to resume. The app is specifically designed for face-to-face meetings and does not support recording phone or VoIP calls conducted on the same device. This happens because the app cannot access the microphone while it is being used by an active call, such as a phone or VoIP call.
Save the Recording
When your meeting ends:
Tap the Pause button
Tap the Save icon
⚠️ Important:
If you don’t press Save, the recording will not be stored on your device and cannot be recovered.
Upload the Recording
To upload your recording:
Add a Meeting Type
Enter the Number of Speakers
Add the Client(s)
Once these fields are completed, the Upload button will become active.
Tap Upload to send the recording to Aveni Assist.
Common Issues

When attempting to record during a phone or VoIP call, you may encounter error messages such as:
"Failed to start recording"
"Failed to record" These errors occur because the app cannot access the microphone while it is being used by an active call.
Upload Button is Greyed Out
This means required fields are missing. Ensure all fields are completed.
Recording Stuck Uploading
Check your internet connection
Reopen the app
Tap Upload again
Weak or unstable Wi-Fi/mobile data is the most common cause.
